Chilled Berries in Warm White Chocolate Sauce

'Chilled Berries in Warm White Chocolate Sauce'
Source: Adapted from The Cafe Sucre Farine

4-6 cups fresh berries, chilled (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
6-7 ounces good quality white chocolate (such as Ghiradelli or Lindt), chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

1.Place cream in a medium size microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes or until cream just begins to bubble around the edges.

2. Remove from microwave and immediately add white chocolate. Cover with a piece of plastic wrap and allow to sit for several minutes then stir well until all chocolate is melted and sauce is smooth.

3.Divide chilled berries among 4 dessert plates or small bowls. If necessary, re-heat white chocolate sauce for 40-50 seconds. Drizzle sauce generously over berries. Serve with a mint sprig for garnish.

  1. Lovely dish! I love the easy steps. Love the different types of berries floating in rich creamy white chocolate. I am hooked at first sight. =)
