Mini Crescent Cinnamon Rolls

These are the cutest little cinnamon rolls ever! The first thing I thought when I was cutting them and putting them on the baking sheet was that they would be perfect for a tea party with a little girl.

Now, as you know I have a little BOY. One who is not even the teeniest bit interested in tea parties (although he does love him some Twinings English Breakfast Tea. If I'm not careful, he'll drink my whole cup before I get a chance to), so I'm sharing this recipe with all my friends who are Mommies to wee little girls who would love to have a Tea Party with their Mama (Jenn, Charissa, Julie, Sherrie, April...I'm thinking of you guys!).

Hope you all had a safe and relaxing 4th of July with your loved ones! Till tomorrow!

Ingredients

1 can crescent rolls (8 oz)
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
4 teaspoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon apple juice or milk

Directions

1. Heat oven to 375.

2. Unroll crescent rolls; separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal.

3.Spread 1 tablespoon butter evenly over each dough rectangle. In small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over rectangles. Sprinkle each with raisins (optional).

4. Starting with short side of each rectangle, roll up; pinch edges to seal. With serrated knife, cut each roll into 5 slices. Place slices, cut side down, on a greased foil lined baking sheet.

5. Bake 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix powdered sugar and apple juice (or milk) until smooth. Drizzle over rolls. Serve warm.
