Well, I'm cranky today, so I'm gonna keep this short. I didn't post anything yesterday because when I came home from dropping Jesse off at school and running some errands, I did this...
...backed into my garage door. Again. Yep...2nd time in a week, only this time I busted the door for good. So after a spending half the day on the phone with USAA, my property manager and the garage door guys, I was a little pissy.
Then today my cell phone decided it would stop taking pictures. Lovely. Whenever I try and use the camera a black screen comes up and it says 'Camera Failed'. Whatever. So off I go later to Verizon to bitch and complain. Good times..
Anyway, I made these cookies a few days ago after seeing them on Pinterest with the caption that they supposedly taste like brownies. I would absolutely have to agree with that. They were so good, but personally, I preferred them the next day. They're super soft and definitely have a brownie consistency to them, but if you let them sit awhile, the hazelnut flavor isn't as in-your-face.
I'm willing to bet that many of you have the ingredients for these cookies on hand right now, so go ahead and give them a go. They whip up crazy fast, and bake in no time (I initially set my timer for 7 minutes, but they were still slightly uncooked in the middle, so 9 minutes was perfect for me. Just check them with a toothpick after 7 minutes).
Ok guys, have a wonderful weekend! I'm gonna try to avoid eye contact with my broke-ass garage door for the next few days until it gets fixed, and take my car to the car-wash for some lovin' to make up for backing her into crap.
