Frito Chili Dogs

'Frito Chili Dogs'

4 all beef hot dogs
4 hot dog buns
1 can chili with beans (15 oz)
3/4 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
3/4 cups Frito chips (crushed)
jalapeno slices


1. Pour the canned chili into a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat. Cook until the heated through. Keep warm.

2. Lightly grease the grill grates of an outdoor grill (you can also use an indoor grill pan...I used a panini maker).

3. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Place hot dogs onto the grill and grill till desired doneness is reached (if using a panini maker, about 6 minutes is ideal). Place hot dog buns onto the grill cut side down and grill until lightly toasted.

3. Place hot dogs onto the buns. Top with chili, shredded cheese, jalapeno slices, and crushed Frito chips.
