7-Up Pork Chops

Here is one of the easiest recipes I think I've ever made. Seriously, putting together a grilled cheese sandwich takes more effort than this.

Now, I really liked it...Heath did not. He didn't really elaborate on what exactly it was he didn't care for, but I thought it was very juicy and had a great flavor.

And did I mention it took about 15 seconds to throw together? Maybe that's what I loved most about was a dinner I didn't have to think about :)

Ok guys, I'm off to get showered and start getting this house in order. We didn't do anything this weekend since it was so crappy out. Very mild, but rainy and dreary. Lucky for me I don't have much to do today since I was home all weekend.

Maybe surf the web and Pinterest for more healthy recipes. (Heath is not fully on board with the whole Paleo thing...he loves potatoes and bread too much, so I'm looking for a Paleo/Healthy mix of recipes).

'7-Up Pork Chops'


6 pork chops (1 in. thick)
1 bottle 7-Up soda (12 oz)
1 package onion soup mix


1. Heat oven to 350. Place chops in shallow baking pan.

2. Pour 7-up over chops and sprinkle with onion soup mix.

3. Bake uncovered for 40-50 minutes.
