2 feet of snow headed our way. Oh. Joy.
I know we've spent the last 5 winters down south and were a little spoiled by the beautiful weather, but really CT...there's no need to catch us up all in one year.
At least it's coming over the weekend, and I went grocery shopping yesterday, so I'm all set. If it weren't for Jesse needing to be driven to school every day as well as various after-school activities, I could easily see myself leaving the house one day a week....grocery shopping day. I'm a bit of a home-body :)
Oh well! Guess I'll load up a bunch of wood in the garage and pick up some odds and ends before our weekend of captivity. At least Jesse will get enough snow this time to build a snowman. A giant snowman. Maybe 3 or 4 snowmen....as well as some houses and a little village for them. Lord knows there'll be enough snow on the ground!
Anyway, here's a s-u-p-e-r simple slow cooker recipe for you today. I didn't eat any of this (I went out with friends the night I made this), but Heath and Jesse said they liked it.
Just dump everything in the slow cooker, set for 7-8 hours, and you're good to go! Doesn't get much easier than that!
Have a great day guys!

This looks yummy! Did you brown the chicken first before putting into the crockpot, or does it brown like that in the crockpot?
ReplyDeleteNope! No browning required! That's just all the spices that cooked into the chicken.
ReplyDeleteThanks! This is going into my crockpot today!
DeleteWe got 32 inches of snow last night!!! Eeeeek...way too much! Thanks for posting this easy recipe! This can cook while we're shoveling snow! Hopefully our dinner will be ready just as we're done...lol!
